Snow break
We've been in Sister's Oregon for the last few days, visiting Eric's dad and his wife. Besides seeing the grandparents, I love coming here because they live a whole 2 miles away from the stitchin' post. As soon as we got here I made my usual excuses and ditched the fam to go get some yarn. I am almost a year over due on my sister's birthday present, and so I started on these:
They were such a quick and easy knit (from Altered Knits by the way) that I had to make another pair:
And by the time I had finished them:
I had it in my head to design my own so now I have this:
But I only have one of them because it came out a little too small, so now I am working on this:
Thank god for grandparents and the endless hours they spend with their grandchildren.
It hasn't all been knitting and, well, more knitting. Tabitha made good on the cough she had last week, which we thought was improving, and developed a full blown duel ear infection mid air on the trip down. I spent our first morning here knitting in an urgent care waiting room. But at least this was the view on the drive there:
She's already feeling better.
:)

Welcome back lady - it had been a while! Glad Tabitha is feeling better and that you got some good knitting time in.
Hope all is well
