Reining in

I am committing myself to this for the month of April. I actually did a little shopping yesterday just to make sure I'm well stocked and I have given myself permision to purchase supplies for the class I am teaching over spring break if it turns out I need it. Otherwise, I'm dealing with what I have, making projects from the books I already own, creating from supplies already overtaking me in my craft space. No more buying for the school projects, or because Goodwill might run out of sweaters this month. If hell freezes over and I actually make things to sell, they will be from supplies gathered over the last few days months years. So, wish me luck. I have already scavenged a basket from my craft room rather than buy one to put the reclaimed yarn in for the auction:

Not too shabby eh? It makes me feel like I have really good stuff in there, waiting to be mined out. I am extending the thing to include furniture and toys, and maybe the occasional box of chocolate. I hope to have saved enough at the end of the month to buy an island in Hawaii, a small one though, just big enought for all my craft supplies.

I'm so glad to see so many people join in on this project! The group support is exactly what I need to keep me in line! hahaha
