Can't think of anything clever
Sooo, it's been a while, things have been clucking along, and I have been creating. I have been in a fog of making for christmas, trying to follow my mantra of, handmade, artist made, or vintage, with a small exception made for so unique it's worth buying new, which doesn't really apply to Target stuff. I've done pretty well, but spent an obsene amount of time on ebay. But I think I am almost finished with christmas stuff. Well, ok, not really as I have the following to finish up:
Another bassinet for Tabitha this time,
and a doll small enough to put in it, about 12 inches, jointed,
and another sweet cheecks doll that I am making with some friends (we're all making one each). I love working with a group of women (dare I think girls?). I may donate this one to the Waldorf school Oliver goes to, for the winter faire. Plus I've gone a little nuts for crochet, again, and stitched this up recently:
Very Waldorf if I do say so myself. I took the inspiration, if not the actual pattern, from this book:
It started as this:
but I went a little more natural, or as natural as a toadstool made from crochet can be. I also have, though I can't show pictures for obvious reasons, because some of thim do actually read my blog,
a little something for my sister
a slightly bigger something for my mom
a couple of things for friends
and a crochet vest for my wonderful husband (let's see if he's paying attention)
So, add to that the housewarming party Eric insisted on this weekend, and the tea party I had planned way before that (typical) and the various family visits and this is going to be a full month.
Before I go and get going (ha), here's a little sweet for you:
Oliver and Tabitha taking an interest in what Daddy does.
:)
Love, love, love the crocheted toadstool. I want one!!!!!!!

I am kinda new to this blogging thing and I am sure there is a way that I could have pinged your blog and let you know that I replied to your question on my blog about the bag design, but I don't know how. So consider yourself "PINGED".
